Pl\u00f6tzlich meldet das KFZ-Batterie-Management, dass die (Starter)- Batterie leer wird und das Radio abschaltet oder die Batterie geladen werden soll. Ursachen hierf\u00fcr sind h\u00e4ufig hohe Stromverbr\u00e4uche durch beispielsweise das KFZ-Radio oder auch KFZ- Steuersysteme, die bei jedem T\u00fcr\u00f6ffnen eine Zeit lang aktiv sind und relativ viel Strom aus der Starterbatterie verbrauchen. Viele einfache StandBy-Lader sind nicht in der Lage diese hohen Str\u00f6me zu liefern, weshalb die Starterbatterie trotz deren Einsatz entladen wird. Moderne Lithium-(LiFePO4)-Batterien haben eine deutlich h\u00f6here Ruhespannung als Starterbatterien (Blei, AGM). Dies f\u00fchrt bei Verwendung einfacher, ungeregelter und unkontrollierter StandBy-Ladern zur kompletten Entleerung der Lithium-Versorgungsbatterie. Der VOTRONIC StandBy-Charger Pro verf\u00fcgt am Eingang \u00fcber eine einstellbare Unterspannungsgrenze. Die Ladung wird bei Unterschreiten dieser Spannung unterbrochen.
